Joining a local campaign is a great thing to do, for a number of reasons:
Local bike shops will often give discounts to members of local cycling campaigns and cycling groups.
Local groups also have lots of helpful people with local knowledge about the best bargains and best cycle routes, and they can be a way to get to know local people with a similar interest.
Local campaigns work hard to make cycling safer in your area.
Membership of a cycling campaign is low cost and often free – they are a great thing to support. We haven’t yet found a comprehensive list, so Googling the place you live followed by ‘cycling campaign’ might be the best way to find your local one.
